About Us:
Monifieth Boys' Brigade are a community company, linked to Monifieth Parish Church, that allows boys from Age 5-18 to experience a range of activities and experiences. The 1st Monifieth Boys Brigade Company was formed in 1965 in Monifieth. We currently run from the Gerard Hall, Church Street, Monifieth, DD5 4JP on a Friday Night. We have 3 Sections plus a Pipe Band and the times are:
- Anchors > P1 (5y.o) – P3 (Friday 6– 7.15pm)
- Juniors > P4 – P6 (Friday 7:00 – 8.15pm)
- Company > P7 – S7 (Friday 8.00 – 10.00pm)
What We Do:
The Company is very active in both the Dundee and Angus Battalion and nationally, entering competitions in most areas such as Football and Table tennis. The Company also is one of the few who still hold a canvas camp every summer. 1st Monifieth are mobile due to the helpful fact they own their own Minibus which you many have seen around the town.
